The UK Bodysurfing Association CIC are extremely proud to announce that sustainable clothing manufacturer, BamBooBay, are to be their key sponsor for this year's Championships, which will be titled the ‘BamBooBay UK Bodysurf Championships 2021’.

Organised by the UK Bodysurfing Association CIC and Surfing England, The BamBooBay UK Bodysurfing Championships 2021 are to take place at Fistral Beach, Newquay, England over the weekend 13-14th of November 2021.
They are open to competitors from around the world, and spectators are welcome too.
Bodysurfing has always had a very close affinity with the sea and the waves, one person matching their skill directly against the full power of the ocean. It therefore goes without saying that the UK Bodysurfing Association CIC cares deeply about protecting the environment now, and into the future.
Bamboobay are therefore an ideal partner for them, with sustainability being at the forefront of the brands ethos. Through utilising organic and recycled materials, BambooBays manufacturing process reflects a shared interest to encourage a more sustainable way of life.

Chemicals used in manufacturing processes can have a tremendous impact on the earth's air, water, soil, and the health of people in cotton-growing areas. However, they are largely eliminated through Bamboobay’s ethical production process. Bamboobay carefully curates the use of organic cottons and bamboo to best elevate their products, always with the environment at the forefront of their minds.

Bamboobay are very excited to be involved with the UK Bodysurfing Association CIC as the sport of bodysurfing continues to grow in the UK. Bamboobay wish to be involved in the growth of the sport here in the UK and also as it expands through Euro Bodysurf. Euro Bodysurf is a series of bodysurfing events held across several countries; France, Portugal, Spain, Morocco and England.

A message from BamBooBay:

“The level of commitment to put on the event from the UK Bodysurfing Association and Surf England is admirable. We can’t wait to work together with these two great organisations to push the sport and event further each year. It’s going to be a really fun couple of days and we hope to see a lot of people getting involved and enjoying themselves.”
