After mixed results on our DIY rails and still clucking for a shred fix it was time to put the feelers out, we’re not the only ones here with an itch to scratch! In no time at all, we found some of the French lads had got their hands on a couple of sections of box and were setting it up on a section of piste which had some snow canon build up.
In a shady valley we got together a multi national crew of people and got digging. And man did we have a banging day! Different ages, abilities and nationalities all desperate to have a rip! I’ve got upsettingly few pics from these days ( iPhone battery is wack in the cold!) but man it was sick, so much support, so much hype. A few beers and a few Genapai down, living the dream!

It didn’t take long for the set up to start taking wacky shapes, the last line I hit was an up box cannon with butter section to down box, making for a super fun disaster fs board slide gapping the top! A hip, a quarter pipe with PVC coping! Too good to be true! Fucking yeah right! The last time we were there (With Jack Austin BBB home boy since day one, big up brat brap) we arrived just in time, after one hit each the piste basher tore through weeks of building and fun like a toddler through a sandcastle! A bummer for sure, but it just made us think of the next spot! We were hungry now and I've got a feeling a new and improved Shredtown will be popping up soon enough.
